In My Mailbox is a weekly meme hosted by The Story Siren and inspired by Alea of Pop Culture Junkie. The idea behind IMM is not only to put new books on our radars but also to encourage blogger interaction. IMM explores the weekly contents of our mailboxes: books bought, received, won, and borrowed, along with other goodies and swag.

wow all of those look so good! i'm curious about the goddess test!
ReplyDelete@Ashley-- Lucky you! Red Riding Hood looks like an amazing movie, and I just finished the book-- I think you're in for a treat, if it's not too early to say. :) The Eagle of the Ninth is actually a movie in theaters now, too. (I must be pop culture-obsessed, or something.) It's just called the Eagle. Great book; haven't seen the movie yet.
ReplyDelete@Carrie-- I just started the Goddess Test. It is pretty good so far, though not magnificent. Hope you get to check it out. :)
...Pinky is making fun of my bad pronunciations again, I see. This morning I stalled in making my bed by telling her all about the books I bought a few days ago, and I couldn't seem to pronounce the Monstrumologist's title right...
mon-stro-ology-ology-eest... ah. You see?
Great stack of books! I am just about to start the Goddess Test too :)
ReplyDeleteAha! I shall teach you if it's the last thing I do!;)
ReplyDeleteI'm totally looking forward to The Goddess Test. Nice blog btw!
ReplyDeleteGreat books! They all look amazing, and I've got a few of them sitting on my shelf waiting for me to get to them. Here's what I got this week. Happy reading!
ReplyDeleteYou have some great books here! I'm excited to read THE GODDESS TEST and THE IRON WITCH. I also got STARCROSSED for review and I can't wait to dig into that! Happy Reading!
ReplyDeleteFeel free to check out what's in my mailbox this week.
Well, hello fellow Buffy fan!
ReplyDeleteI also have The Monstrumologist waiting for me on my shelf, just haven't gotten around to it yet. It sounds rather good. I like the idea that the monsters in it are scary and not kissable for a change.
Happy reading!
What a great bunch of books =)
ReplyDeleteI also picked up The Goddess Test from NetGalley, I hope you like it!
Feel free to check my IMM *winks*

Hey! I'm glad you're going to read EAGLE OF THE NINTH, an older friend of mine from church gave it to me to read, and he said it was very good. I have yet to read it, though, because of Battle of the Books.
ReplyDelete(You ready for tuesday's competition, Pinky?)
I'll be sure to read your EOTN review! :D
