In My Mailbox (#18)

In My Mailbox is a weekly meme hosted by The Story Siren and inspired by Alea of Pop Culture Junkie. The idea behind IMM is not only to put new books on our radars but also to encourage blogger interaction. IMM explores the weekly contents of our mailboxes: books bought, received, won, and borrowed, along with other goodies and swag.

Not many books this week, compared to my usual haul, and most of them are, most unusually, not YA.  Even more of a curiosity is the fact that I've read several of them at least once already.  I didn't even make it to the library (*shocked gasp*), mainly because of those thrice-accursed exams.  But I got a great bunch of books this week, none the less. :)

So here's what I got:

Bought:

Won:

-- The Dust of 100 Dogs by AS King
-- Hexed (Iron Druid Chronicles #2) by Kevin Hearne (YAY!)
-- Anansi Boys by Neil Gaiman (an old favorite)
-- Black Butler Volume 1 by Yana Toboso
-- Fables: Legends in Exile by Bill Willingham (graphic novel)

Thanks to:
-- my mom, whom I wish a very Happy Birthday
-- Misty @ The Book Rat

So, what's in your mailbox this weekend?

  6. @The Library Owl-- Anansi Boys is pretty much my favorite Gaiman book... I might even like it better than American Gods, depending on my mood. Good to know a fellow fan! :)

@Aylee-- Yes, sometimes I also find myself venturing to the adult section of bookstores. I read a mixture of both YA and adult, but only review YA... maybe I should start reviewing some adult books?

@Reading Angel-- Ooh, it's great to hear that 100 Dogs is so good. I mean, what a premise!
