In My Mailbox (#20)

In My Mailbox is a weekly meme hosted by The Story Siren and inspired by Alea of Pop Culture Junkie. The idea behind IMM is not only to put new books on our radars but also to encourage blogger interaction. IMM explores the weekly contents of our mailboxes: books bought, received, won, and borrowed, along with other goodies and swag.

Lots of good stuff this week-- the most exciting for me being that beautiful edition of The Hobbit!  Without further ado,
Here's what I got:

E-books/ For Review:

-- The Girl Who Circumnavigated Fairyland in a Ship of Her Own Making by Catherynne M. Valente
-- Tiger's Quest (Tiger Saga #2) by Colleen Houck
-- The Demon's Covenant (Demon's Lexicon #2) by Sarah Rees Brennan
--The Demon's Surrender (Demon's Lexicon #3) by Sarah Rees Brennan
-- The Hobbit by JRR Tolkien
-- Fury by Elizabeth Miles
-- Damned (Crusade #2) by Nancy Holder
-- The Book of Harry Potter Trifles, Trivia, and Particularities by Racheline Maltese

Great week! I still need to read Sarah's trilogy. It'll be a while before I'll be able to get to it but hopefully soon! The Book of Harry Potter Trifles, Trivia, and Particularities looks awesome as does that special edition of The Hobbit. Hope you like Fury!

Thanks for stopping by Book Noise. OMG...Tiger's Quest is amazing. Houck is brilliant. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did. I could read this series over and over again. Enjoy all of your goodies.

The Demon's Covenant is awesome, I have yet to read Surrender :( Interested in what you think of Damned, the cover is so different from Crusade lol. Hope you all enjoy all of these, happy reading!

I really want to read The Girl who Circumnavigated Fairyland. I keep seeing that everywhere.
Also awesome edition of The Hobbit!

First time reader, awesome blog <3

@April X-- Yes, they definitely went in a completely different direction for the Damned cover as opposed to Crusade! I guess they thought 'hot guy on cover= sell more books'. :)
I can't wait to read Surrender, either.

@Chelsey-- I'm so excited about The Girl Who Circumnavigated Fairyland! It looks like a Victorian sort of childrens' book, like Alice in Wonderland and the books I used to read at my grandparents' when I was little. Let you know what I think!

@Jennifer-- Glad to hear Tiger's Quest lives up to the buzz. I read the first book on Kindle and thought it was addictive, though not *all* that well-written. Can't wait to begin this one! :)
