Waiting on Wednesday X2 (#30)

"Waiting on" Wednesday is a weekly blogging event hosted at Breaking-The-Spine.com that spotlights upcoming releases that we're eagerly anticipating. This week I'm featuring one book whose release I'm anxiously awaiting and another already-released book which I'm waiting on (with somewhat less confidence but equal anticipation) to magically Apparate onto my bookshelf...

Lola and the Boy Next Door by Stephanie Perkins
To Be Released: September 29th, 2011

In this companion novel to Anna and the French Kiss, two teens discover that true love may be closer than they think.
For budding costume designer Lola Nolan, the more outrageous, the outfit - more sparkly, more fun, more wild - the better. But even though Lola's style is outrageous, she's a devoted daughter and friend with some big plans for the future. And everything is pretty perfect (right down to her hot rocker boyfriend) until the dreaded Bell twins move back into the house next door.
When the family returns and Cricket - a gifted inventor and engineer - steps out from his twin sister's shadow and back into Lola's life, she must finally reconcile a lifetime of feelings for the boy next door.

How I Stole Johnny Depp's Alien Girlfriend by Gary Ghislain
Published: May 2011
David Gershwin's summer is about to take a turn for the weird. When his dad's new patient Zelda tells him she's from outer space and on a quest to take Johnny Depp back to her planet, he knows he should run away screaming. But with one look from her mean, green eyes, David's hooked, and soon he's leaping across rooftops, running from police, and stealing cars just to stay by her side. He might not be a typical hero, but David's going to get the girl even if it takes him to the ends of the earth or beyond.

How could anyone possibly read the title of that second one and not want to read it?  So, what are you waiting on this Wednesday?

I. Am. Crazy. Excited. For. LOLA!!! I've been tormenting myself by reading the early reviews and it sounds like Stephanie Perkins has not failed us Anna fans! Is it September yet??

LOL and yes. I want to read that second book solely based on the title alone!
