In My Mailbox is a weekly meme hosted by The Story Siren and inspired by Alea of Pop Culture Junkie. The idea behind IMM is not only to put new books on our radars but also to encourage blogger interaction. IMM explores the weekly contents of our mailboxes: books bought, received, won, and borrowed, along with other goodies and swag.
You know you had a really good day at the library when you feel kinda like a burglar, lugging your bag chock full of books to the checkout desk ala How the Grinch Stole Christmas. This was one of those weeks, so much that I'm doing In My Mailbox today instead of waiting until Sunday. (Usually I post these on a bi-weekly basis, if ya hadn't noticed.)
Anyway, here's what I got:
From the Library:
-- The Demon Trapper's Daughter by Jana Oliver
-- A Northern Light by Jennifer Donnelly
-- Fruits Basket volumes 12+16 by Natsuki Takaya
-- Spirit Bound by Richelle Mead
-- The Grimm Legacy by Polly Shulman
-- The Curse of the Wendigo by Rick Yancey
-- Huntress by Malinda Lo

I love the Vampire Academy series and Spirit Bound was one of my favourites! I love how the cover of The Curse of the Wendigo matches The Monstrumologist but I've yet to read them :( I've heard that they are good though and fantastically creepy.
I hope you enjoy them all!
You picked some good ones! I really like the Vampire Academy and am beyond excited to finally meet Richelle Mead next Sunday. I thought The Grimm Legacy was very good too. I do have a couple of others on your list on my TBR stack somewhere. I hope you enjoy all your new books. My mailboxes are at Inside of a Dog and Ms. Martin Teaches Media. Happy reading!
Can't wait to read Huntress I've heard some good things about it and I absolutely love the cover! Great haul! And I do sometimes feel like a burglar at the library especially if there are other girls staring at all of the books I'm holding. >_<

Oh awesome, you reviewed Divergent. Need to check out your review!!!
Great new books you've got! Enjoy them!
@TheLibraryOwl-- The Monstrumologist was indeed fantastically creepy! It actually was quite gory... I'm hoping for more of the same with the sequel. I do like the matching covers. :)
@Kathy Martin-- Lucky you, going to meet Richelle Mead! I'm very jealous, but hope you have fun at the signing!
Awesome books this week. I have been wanting read Curse of the Wendigo - I loved The Monstrumologist. Hope you enjoy them.
Great books this week. I've only read the first two VA books - really have to get back to the series. I have The Demon Trapper's Daughter on my tbr pile I should bump it up.
Happy reading.

What a great load from the Library.
Oh, Huntress does look good. I was lucky to find a small bookstore where Malinda Lo was signing some of her lovely books. I hope it is just wonderful!

@Mad Scientist-- So awesome that you got to meet Malinda Lo in an indie store! Not too many authors venture to my part of the States, but I'd love to meet Malinda. And Huntress was indeed wonderful. :) Review for that one coming very soon... I am so backed up, with indie reviews, too!!!
